24 Houses Proposed For Vacant & Overgrown Chirk Site
Plans have been put forward to develop housing on vacant and ‘overgrown’ land in Chirk. In an outline planning application submitted to Wrexham Council it has been proposed that up to 24 houses and associated works are developed on land north of Station Avenue in Chirk. The site itself, which is triangular shape is described as currently vacant and overgrown. If approved the proposals, which have been put forward on behalf of the Co-Op (who own the land), would see a mixture of two and three bedroom properties built on the site.As the application is in its outline stages exact details of the dwellings are not available in the do, however accompanying documents note that associated garaging and parking would be provided.Further details of the exact design and layout of the development would be provided if the outline application is approved by councillors, therefore moving to the next stage.Vehicular access to the site would be provided via a new access on Station Road – which would see the construction of a new junction off the road and to the dwellings
